Greetings, I just launched my shard, Rebirth Reborn a couple of days ago. It's running on RunUO2.2 and it's a Pret2a/T2A Custom shard While there are a few things still left to edit and fix, i'd like to advertise it here as it is public now, as it is very much playable. Heres a little about it:


The name Rebirth Reborn comes from the name of the uo gamers shard UO Rebirth. I wanted to make a shard similar to them, but not exactly the same. Zippy, the shard owner and developer oif it, had released the uo rebirth source code awhile back and altho I did download it and play around with it, I knew that I wouldn't use it. I took examples from it and quickly learned how to update and add new things into the newest runuo server. There are no core mods on Rebirth Reborn btw, the only changes are to the runuo scripts themselves. While all of the gumps or font display on items are not t2a, many things are. A few things are a hybrid of the two, taking one great idea and combining it with something else, to make it even better. Like houses for example. The monster spawns are all pret2a relicated as well, and some of the old bugs that went in the game only to live about a month before being patched out.



Below are a list of things you will find on RR:

You can use archery while running.

Skill timers are set to 6s each.

Public Moongates are random, with no gump to choose where you want to go. Just like PreaT2a . Double clicking them does not work either.

Timers on healing are set to 30 secs.

All of razor features are enabled.

The timer on drinking heal and gheal pots is set to 6s.

You can drink potions while being equipped.

Recall delay to cast is set to 6 seconds.
(This is set so that it takes longer to recall if you are pvping or pking and someone tries to run and recall).

Mobile names display the old uo curvy font.

Houses are just like that of pret2a times except you can add friends, make public, redeed, and make coowners. There are no bans, lockdowns, or secures.

You stay blue when you enter someone elses house that you do not own.

Skill gain is slightly increased.

There are no T2a maps and teleporting to them has been disabled.

You can steal from NPC shopkeepers.

You can heal through poison.

Monsters can be blocked and trapped by containers.

Runebooks do not exist and you cannot craft them.

The corpse decay time is set to 4 minutes.

Certain skills don't give dmg bonuses for pvp. All resources that weren't avaliable in pret2a are disabled. You may only gather normal logs and iron ore.
