Thanks for this.
Having these details is a good resource for those trying to block light level changes but I agree that outside of a monitoring program it looks hopeless.

I've come to the same conclusions.
But beyond looking to enforce light levels, while being a move I support wholly, what else can we learn about how the client handles light?
Reductive lighting, light.mul/lightidx.mul interactions, point/location-based lighting.. The actual limits of the client in terms of lighting have yet to be documented.
