I am curious. Is this project aimed at making a full T2A playable server or for reference?

Personally, I think it's a mix of the two.

It can be fully playable server.
But some technical limitations cannot be overcome. -> It is old code limited to 2GB of memory. Because of that any shard running UO:98 will be limited in growth and the number of items/mobiles/players it can support.

To further clarify though, it is indeed aimed at making a fully playable and administratable server.

The memory limitations are a bit of a problem to be sure, but these are the same limitations that OSI had in era (per subserver), and they had quite a few players each. Breaking out the login server or "Game Central" and dividing the world into sub-servers as Garret suggested in another thread could stretch the bounds a bit too.

A lot could still be done.

It really is fully playable now as a Pre-T2A server now. There are some things missing like the surprisingly absent Guildstone script, and possibly other things we haven't discovered.

I'm really hoping that people will just run it and play it and start reporting troubles. It's been a couple months now since I've had any time to work on it, but if there is a greater interest it will certainly move up fast on my priority list.

Thanks much for your interest. We will continue to move forward with it, I'm dying to, just need to find some time.

I have been play testing the server for a few day's. It's great! Is there a bug tracker to post bug's?
