I also want to tell about an Injecter utility that can be downloaded at Novell: (Remote DLL Injection Application by Talekar Nagareshwar)
Select the running uodemo.exe and select the extracted DLL from the ZIP above. Press "Load DLL" and if all went well you can start to type Python commands. This works with the original demo as well and older UoDemo+ version that didn't have the UoDemoDLL option. This is very impressive and useful. Having a console like this for UO:98 would really extend the ability to administrate the server.
I'd like to see if we could get this running in the same thread, or at least in some synchronized manner; possible quick and dirty approach would be only processing console input during a tick, and throwing in a short sleep after? |
